For the new indoor golf experience RUFF Golf, Internova was asked to design a lighting concept that recreates the feeling of playing on a real course, with limited natural daylight. The goal was to combine technical precision with atmosphere, resulting in a space that feels both professional and inviting.
High performance, Natural feeling
Because limited natural daylight enters the venue, we recommended using 935PW lighting to achieve a balanced, natural tone. This color temperature enhances the green surfaces and gives players the sensation of standing outdoors. A total of 129 Diablo tracklights in 3000lm were installed on Powergear 3-circuit tracks at a height of 9 meters, providing strong yet even light distribution across all greens.
Visual comfort and flexibility
The track system offers complete flexibility, allowing the light direction to be easily adjusted for different playing zones or events. By carefully calibrating the beam angles and distances, we created a visually comfortable environment free of glare, maintaining focus where it matters most, the game.
Balanced design for play and relaxation
While the playing area focuses on performance and visibility, the bar and lounge feature decorative warm lighting for a cozy, social atmosphere. Together, these elements form a cohesive lighting design that blends function and comfort. Bringing energy, depth, and authenticity to the world of RUFF Golf.
